Charles T. Kotuby Jr.

Charles Kotuby is a Partner in the Global Disputes and International Arbitration Practice at Jones Day in Washington D.C.  He regularly acts as counsel in international arbitrations involving both common law and civil law systems.  Charles is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington D.C., where he teaches courses in international arbitration, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for International Legal Education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law; his LL.M. in European Union and International Law from the University of Durham (UK); served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Weis Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and as a Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and Private International Law in Hamburg, Germany.
