Mr. Shala began his career in the legal profession at the Municipal Court in Tuzla, Bosnia and Hercegovia. He continued working as court interpreter (Albanian-Serbian) at the District Attorney’s Office in Pristina until he began his private practice in his own law firm in 1992 where he focuses on civil and commercial matters.
From 1996 until 2001, Mr. Shala has been engaged in different activities, being the Secretary General of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pristina and working as a Legal Advisor to the Tran’s cultural psycho social organization.In 2001 Mr. Shala started working as Legal Officer Team Leader of the Central Processing Unit at the Housing and Property Directorate (within UNMIK Kosovo). In 2002 he was engaged by KIA Motors Kosovo as the Warranty Manager and Legal Advisor and as Legal Advisor at the Norwegian Refugee Council.
From 2004 until 2006, Mr. Shala served as the Legal Manager of the Civil Rights Program in Kosovo and provided consultancy services to ICON-INCTITUT Public Sector, Cologne, Germany on the Establishment of a Comprehensive Legal Aid System in Kosovo, and with LDK Consultants on legislation and drafting of employee contracts for the Energy Regulatory Office.
As a licensed Attorney-at-Law from 1992, he has been focusing on offering legal services in the fields of Civil Law, Contract Law and Commercial law. In his work, he primarily deals with drafting of commercial contracts, legal representation of legal and private persons in litigation in front of the Municipal Courts, Commercial Court and the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court of Kosovo. Currently Mr. Shala is engaged in offering his legal services to the Embassy of Germany in Kosovo, Turkish Airlines and several domestic companies.Mr. Shala fluently speaks Albanian and Serbian, and has a working knowledge of English.
